I’m a wife, mom to two wonderful humans, dog mom, certified postpartum doula, and soon to be lactation counselor. In my free time, I prefer to spend time with my family, be outdoors, and continue to practice personal growth. It’s very exciting to be joining Dr. Rebecca’s team. I love her approach to whole body care as well as her compassion and kindness. Like Dr. Rebecca, I am passionate about supporting people, especially perinatal families. Originally from Durham, Connecticut, Dr. Amelia fell in love with the state of Maine during her undergraduate education at the University of Maine, Orono. After graduating from UMO with a Bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Amelia attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Port Orange, Florida where she graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Amelia practices using Palmar Package which includes Diversified and Thompson Drop technique and she is also certified in basic Activator Method technique. She often incorporates soft tissue therapies and neuromuscular re-education into her care plans to address all aspects of the patient’s health. Dr. Amelia is a former competitive gymnast with a passion for coaching, having guided young athletes at two YMCAs. She aims to return to gymnastics to teach children how to strengthen and protect their bodies from the sport’s physical demands. Outside of her professional pursuits, Dr. Amelia enjoys baking, spending time at the beach, and capturing the beauty of nature through photography.
